Privacy Policy

ScrollStitch ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application that converts screen recordings into stitched images or PDF documents. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

Video and image files you provide. When you use ScrollStitch, you select a screen recording from your device. Frames are extracted on your device and uploaded to our processing server solely to produce the stitched output. Files are stored in temporary storage and deleted automatically within 30 minutes.
Purchase and subscription information. If you subscribe to ScrollStitch Pro, purchase data is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and by RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not see your payment card details.
Notification token. If you allow notifications, your device is issued an anonymous push token, which we send to our server together with the job so we can tell you when your stitched image is ready. It identifies a device, not a person, and is used for nothing else. Decline the permission and no token is created or sent; the app simply asks you to stay on the screen while it works.
No account registration. ScrollStitch does not require you to create an account or provide your name or email address.

2. How We Use Your Information

To process your videos and generate the stitched image or PDF you request.
To verify your subscription status and unlock Pro features.
To improve app stability and performance (crash diagnostics only, no personal data).

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

RevenueCat — subscription management. Their privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing, governed by their respective privacy policies.
Legal obligations — if required by law or to protect the rights of users or the public.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded frames and generated output files are held in server-side temporary storage for up to 30 minutes, then automatically purged. We do not maintain a persistent copy of your video or image data.

A notification token is kept only for as long as the job it belongs to. Once the notification has been sent, or the job has finished without one, the token is discarded with the rest of the job.

5. Children's Privacy

ScrollStitch is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not store personal data beyond temporary processing, there is typically nothing to access or delete. If you have questions about data associated with a purchase, please contact Apple or Google support for billing records, or RevenueCat at revenuecat.com/privacy.

7. Security

All data transmitted between the app and our server is encrypted via HTTPS. Temporary files are stored on secure servers and are never accessible to other users.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
